As the new school year begins, offering a cybersecurity system “wellness” checkup, for Michigan schools (K – 12) to identify vulnerabilities and gaps in the current systems security posture to ensure student, faculty and business systems information is secure.

Exploring supporting enabling infrastructure (electrification and broadband) initiatives to support the development of use cases that drive economic development, workforce initiatives and community improvements. Utilize data analytics to optimize the identification and utilization of these assets especially in rural and underserved areas.

Development of an operational use case for a marine testbed, which can test and validate potential advanced marine solutions. A suggested use case might include electrification and hydrogen propulsion, national security/public safety solutions including autonomous vehicles, remote surveillance technologies, communications, etc., as well as commercial applications such as next generation ferry design.

Operationalize a region based Multi-Modal Operations Center (MTOC) required to enable and support multiple transportation modalities independently as well as within an integrated intermodal transportation environment.
